Billing dispute is a major source of conflict for all carriers, whether it with a customer or a supplier. It does not only affect the financial side of business, but also affects the business relationship with the other carrier. The billing dispute could be either due to the rates mismatch between two sides or due to difference in minutes. Billing Dispute Manager can immediately narrow down a dispute to actual records, in the shortest possible time, with minimum effort.

Billing Dispute Manager is a add-on module, which comes integrated with Telecom Billing Solution, but is also available as a seperate application. The system automatically receives invoices from each supplier via email and imports them. Once the supplier invoice is imported into the system, the system will also analyze it for discrepancies and disputes. The discrepancies and disputes would be verified against pre-defined business rules / policies. Discrepancies would be escalated to a specified billing team email address. Then, the billing team can run the Invoice Reconciliation to find out the details regarding the discrepancy. To investigate this matter in more detail, billing team can run CDR Reconciler to find out the differences at CDR level.
The CDR reconciler allows a user to open a CDR file (received from either customer or supplier) and compare it with the corresponding call records held within the Billing System. The application matches the data CDR-by-CDR and shows them side by side highlighting the differences where applicable.
