Brief Description:
The NWT Public Utilities Board (Board) is an independent regulatory body created to regulate Public Utilities operating in the Northwest Territories. As an independent body, the Board is required to follow a quasi-judicial process to review and respond to applications submitted by NWT Public Utilities to the Board under the Public Utilities Act.
NWT-PUB website was developed in Drupal and wasn’t user-friendly and visually-appealing. Telkoware was hired to revamp the website and add useful features and improve the design and layout.
As part of this project, Telkoware team not only revamped the current website (https://nwtpublicutilitiesboard.ca/), but also integrated it with an efficient Document Management System (DMS) to streamline and automate the current manual processes.
The integration of the Document Management System (DMS) has significantly enhanced the efficiency of the NWT Public Utilities Board’s operations. With the implementation of this system, document handling and storage have been streamlined, allowing for easier access, tracking, and retrieval of important information. The Telkoware team worked diligently to ensure a seamless integration that not only meets the regulatory requirements but also enhances the overall user experience of the website. This improvement marks a significant step forward in modernizing the operations of the Board and ensuring a more transparent and accessible process for all stakeholders involved.
