Shinhan Bank Canada; a subsidiary of Shinhan Bank experienced speed, performance, availability and user-experience issues on its current website shinhan.ca. Also, the website was hosted on an outdated dedicated server, which was end of life.
Shinhan Bank reached out to Telkoware team for website optimization, upgrade and migration to the new server.
Telkoware performed a detailed audit of website and found significant issues with the current website. Our team updated the website to the latest version of PHP, WordPress and theme. Also, we updated 25+ plugins to the latest version and de-activated deprecated plugins that were no longer required. Also, unnecessary 3rd party scripts were removed and database tables were optimized. Website’s security was hardened and security plugins were properly configured. Website was optimized for speed and performance, after which the load time reduced from 3.8 sec to 1.75 seconds, page size reduced from 10.5 MB to 3.8 MB.
Website is now faster, more secure, and better optimized for performance. All existing security vulnerabilities are mitigated. Infrastructure now supports 3X the previous traffic capacity.
